Tim Mohr is a seasoned Business Development Manager with a passion for guiding advisors in the intricate world of family enterprises. With nearly a decade of experience in professional development and executive education, Tim brings a unique perspective shaped by his own family’s journey through the complexities of a failed business. Motivated by his personal history, he is dedicated to helping advisors empower their family clients to navigate challenges, foster harmony, and achieve lasting success.
As the Business Development Manager of Advisor Programs at Family Enterprise Canada, Tim champions the FEA Program and its holistic approach to equipping advisors with the tools, mindset, and strategies needed to address the diverse needs of family enterprises. Through relational engagement and a commitment to understanding each family’s unique dynamics, Tim ensures that advisors are well-prepared to guide their clients through successful transitions, ultimately shaping a future where business growth and family harmony thrive hand in hand.

Steve Meldrum is the founder and corporate insurance specialist of Swell Private Wealth Ltd. He primarily works with accountants who integrate insurance solutions into their advisory practices. He’s also the author of Estate Planning with Life Insurance, published through Wolters Kluwer.
Steve currently serves on the board of directors for the Conference for Advanced Life Underwriting (CALU) and is a member of the Canadian Tax Foundation and Family Enterprise Canada. Additionally, he is enrolled in the Chartered Professional Accountants In-Depth Tax Program and the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners Trust and Estate Practitioner designation.
Steve is an authority within the Canadian insurance industry and a frequent contributor to industry and accounting publications and events. He believes that simplicity brings clarity and seeks to address tax, estate, and legacy complexities through this lens.
