Alex is the Vice President of Shareholder Relations and Investments for Coril Holdings Ltd., a family enterprise celebrating 125 years in business with diverse interests spanning railway maintenance, real estate and venture capital.

Alex previously served as Co-Chair of the Business Families Foundation (now Family Enterprise Foundation) and is a past Board member of the Calgary chapter of Family Enterprise Canada (FEC). He joined the Family Business for Sustainable Development Steering Committee at FEC in 2021.

Strandberg Consulting

Coro is the President of Strandberg Consulting. She is an influential sustainability strategist and thought leader. Coro is a Canadian trailblazer and visionary in marketplace innovation to advance social, environmental and financial progress and has contributed to the evolving field of CSR and sustainability for more than 25 years. She works with businesses, governments and industry associations to create strategies and pursue business models to address social and environmental risks and opportunities that propel society towards a sustainable future.

Coro has a tri-sector background in business, government and non-profit leadership working in social, environmental, and financial roles. She has 20 years of experience as a Corporate Director and six years of industry association experience. Coro was a director of Vancity Credit Union – three as Board Chairperson – where during the 1990s she helped position the credit union as an international leader in corporate social responsibility and values-based banking. She is a Director of BC Lotteries Corporation, a provincial crown corporation and a faculty member for Governance Professionals of Canada and Director’s College, training corporate secretaries and directors on sustainability governance oversight. Coro co-founded the Social Purpose Institute at United Way, which helps business adopt and embed a social purpose as the reason they exist.

Andrew Bryson
Family Business Network International

As Family Business Network (FBN) International’s Head of Sustainability and Business Transformation, Andrew leads the organization’s sustainability and digitalization initiatives. Andrew has been a part of FBN since 2014, first as a founding member of the Polaris Committee and, in 2019, helping FBN renew its purpose and visual identity.

Previously, Andrew worked at Saatchi & Saatchi in both the US and Asia where, as Director of Transformation, he led the agency’s transformation and purpose initiatives with clients ranging from social enterprises to the Fortune 100, including Walmart, AT&T, T. Rowe Price, Coca-Cola, Juma Ventures and Air New Zealand. He also spent a number of years as the Executive Director of the Beastie Boys’ nonprofit The Milarepa Fund, where he led the innovation of various strategies focused on activating youth globally. Most recently, Andrew was the Managing Director at several tech start-ups, including Inmoji, a mobile messaging and client engagement platform.
